Paris Street

Paris, once described, "as New York with an accent," embraces the confluence of lifestyles, not just people, that seemingly co-exist along the same street.  In this image of downtown Paris, not too far from the famed Champs-Elysses, I captured the businessmen hurriedly walking to their next appointments, a relaxed luncheon diner reaching for change, and a waiter serving a sidewalk patron.  All this, amid the inviting smells of fresh bread and perfumed women, makes this city a magnet for the romantic in all of us.
