Inter-generational love between Black males is rarely
seen. Arrie Wells, age 91, has lived in the same house in southwest
Baltimore for fifty-seven years. Arrie is known to many generations
of Baltimoreans as "Cool
Breeze." Strolling along one day, I watched him
play with his great, great, grandson. Nearing his
"stoop" I kneeled and politely asked if I could document the
love I observed between the two of them. He nodded. The
three-year-old jumped in his lap for comfort and a "classic" was
captured.
